A free school of foreign trade · Mexico and the US–Mexico corridor
Foreign trade, explained and up to date.
COEX Academy teaches customs, tariff classification and logistics from the law in force. Every lesson cites the article or tariff line it explains, and when the DOF amends them, the lesson is reviewed before you read it.
- Free: you get in with an approved account
- Built on Mexican law, with the US side alongside
- We open in cohorts; the waitlist is the way in
One account, four pillars
Everything you need to understand a shipment, in one place.
Learn, look it up, stay informed and ask: four tools that share the same source.
- 01
Aula
The classroom: learning paths with lessons, exercises on real data and assessments. Finish a path and receive a certificate anyone can verify online.
- 02
Biblioteca
The library: laws, regulations, general rules and the tariff, article by article and line by line, with their amendment history.
- 03
Radar
Every morning we review the DOF and the US publications that touch foreign trade, and tell you what changes in what you follow.
- 04
Pregúntale
Ask COEX: an assistant that answers only from the Biblioteca and cites every statement to the provision in force. When there is no basis, it says so.
Lessons bound to the law
A lesson that knows when the law changed.
Foreign-trade courses age with every reform. Here, each lesson keeps an exact reference to what it teaches, and that reference has a date.
-
Exact citation
Each lesson links the article, the fracción or the tariff line it explains, in the version in force on a given date.
-
Daily reading
Every morning the Radar reads the Diario Oficial de la Federación and identifies the provisions a publication amends.
-
Flagged before you read
If an amendment touches a cited provision, the lesson is marked “under review” before you read it.
-
Human review
A person reviews the change, updates the lesson and publishes it again. You see what changed and since when.
From the source, not from third parties
We cite the original publication.
The Biblioteca is built from what the institutions that issue or compile the rules publish, and every text keeps its reference. COEX Academy is not affiliated with any of them.

What is COEX Academy?
A free school of foreign trade, in Spanish first, that teaches from the law in force. One account brings four pillars together: the Aula (learning paths), the Biblioteca (laws and tariff with date and source), the Radar (what changes every day) and Pregúntale (answers cited to the Biblioteca).
What does it cost?
Nothing. The account is free and opens everything published at opening. If paid courses are offered later, they will be additional, and the Biblioteca will remain free.
Who is it for?
People importing or exporting for the first time; staff at customs brokerages, forwarders, carriers and logistics providers; compliance teams; students; and professionals who need the source at hand.
Can I use COEX Academy instead of a customs broker or a lawyer?
No. COEX Academy teaches and informs; it is not legal advice, nor tax or customs advice. In a specific operation, classification and clearance are the responsibility of the importer or exporter and their customs broker; for a legal opinion, consult a lawyer.
When does it open?
We will open in cohorts. Join the waitlist: we review every request and email the invitation when yours opens.
