Privacy notice

This English text is a translation of the Spanish version, which prevails in case of any difference.

Controller

Baranta International Trade Solutions LLC (“COEX Academy”, “we”), 919 S Imperial Ave, Calexico, CA 92231, United States, is responsible for the personal data you provide on coex.academy. For any privacy matter, write to info@coex.academy.

What data we process

When you join the waitlist: your name, email address, role, organization (if you give it), state or country, interests and the version of this notice you accepted. We also record the date of the request, the language and the page you sent it from and, if you arrived through a campaign link, that campaign's parameters. We do not ask for sensitive personal data.

What we use it for

• To register and manage your waitlist request.
• To review it, assign it to a cohort and send you the invitation to create your account.
• To write to you about your request.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

With providers that process it on our behalf and only for these purposes: the accounts and invitations service (Clerk), email delivery (Resend), protection of the form against automated abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile) and hosting of the site (Vercel). Our servers and those of these providers may be outside Mexico, including in the United States. We do not share your data with other third parties unless a law requires it.

How long we keep it

While your request is open. If it is not approved, we delete it after 12 months. If it is approved and you create your account, your data is kept for as long as the account exists.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing or withdraw your consent by writing to info@coex.academy with the subject “Personal data”. Include your name, the email you registered and what you are asking for. We will answer within the time limits set by the applicable law.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs; Turnstile may read technical data from your browser for that sole purpose.

Changes to this notice

We will publish any change on this page with a new version number. Every request keeps the version you accepted.
